Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining critical infrastructure. Your expertise allows you to operate and maintain various systems, including diesel generators and three-phase electrical systems. You understand the importance of uptime and are committed to ensuring seamless operations in a data center environment.
You are familiar with AWS infrastructure services and have a keen interest in technology that powers global digital experiences. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can work alongside engineers and specialists from various fields.
What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities within the data center. This includes working with stand-by diesel generators, UPS systems, and cooling equipment to ensure optimal performance. You will play a key role in supporting AWS data centers, ensuring that all systems are operational and efficient.
You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, contributing to the overall success of the data center operations. Your hands-on approach will help you identify and resolve issues quickly, maintaining the high standards of uptime that Amazon is known for. You will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the infrastructure.

Amazon provides a competitive starting pay, with hourly rates ranging from $31.00 to $55.00 based on experience and qualifications.
