Who you are
You have a strong foundation in mechatronics and robotics, with hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment. Your skills in embedded systems and pneumatic systems allow you to troubleshoot effectively and ensure operational efficiency. You enjoy mentoring junior technicians, helping them develop their skills and grow in their roles. You are safety-conscious and understand the importance of maintaining a safe working environment. Your ability to work collaboratively with the Operations Maintenance team is essential to achieving the high standards of reliability and performance expected at Amazon.
Desirable
Experience with automated packaging and distribution equipment is a plus. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in maintenance and repair will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated systems within Amazon's operations. You will work closely with the Operations Maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally, contributing to the overall efficiency of the facility. Your role will involve diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their development. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability of Amazon's operations, ensuring that customers receive their products with the speed and accuracy they expect.
