Amazon is hiring a Mechatronics Technician to maintain and ensure the functionality of technical systems and equipment. You'll be responsible for the maintenance of conveyor and building technology systems. This position requires a commitment to safety and reliability in a rotating shift system.
Job Description
Who you are
As a Mechatronics Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our conveyor and building technology systems as well as production equipment. You ensure that the highest safety standards are maintained in workplace safety and work diligently to prevent machine downtimes. You are part of a team that guarantees the high availability of technical systems and continuously improves the quality of our devices. You are comfortable working in a rotating three-shift system, which may include weekends, night shifts, and on-call duties. You understand the importance of collaboration across multiple locations in the logistics network, especially in emergency situations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team, which is crucial for the operation of our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to perform maintenance and repairs on various technical systems and equipment. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. Your role will require you to adhere to strict safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety within the team.
