As a UX Design intern, you are expected to have a foundational understanding of design principles and tools, particularly Figma, which will be essential for your role. You should be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating your ideas clearly. Your ability to handle constructive feedback and iterate on designs will be crucial to your success in this internship.

Desirable

Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD or Sketch would be a plus, as would any prior experience in user research or usability testing. Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards will also enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this internship, you will work closely with experienced UX designers to contribute to the product vision at Amazon. You will assist in defining and designing user interfaces, systems, and interaction patterns that enhance the user experience across various platforms. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with engineers and product managers to ensure that designs are implemented effectively.

You will participate in design reviews and contribute to discussions about design direction and user experience improvements. Your role will also involve gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate on designs, ensuring that the final products meet user needs and expectations. Throughout the internship, you will have the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and gain valuable insights into the UX design process.
