What you'll do
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Amazon, you will serve as a finance partner to various business teams, taking responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will perform monthly P&L analysis and support financial closing activities in close coordination with business and accounting teams. Your role will involve closely monitoring and controlling the operating expense budget for the business, evaluating and questioning opex requirements to ensure cost efficiency.
You will facilitate financial review meetings with business groups, working collaboratively with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management. Your insights will help measure and report progress on key business goals, driving the function/category agenda forward. You will also play a crucial role in supporting strategic initiatives through data analysis and business insights, contributing to Amazon's mission of being Earth's most customer-centric company.
