Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience in finance, tax, or a related analytical field, and you possess a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical discipline. Your strong analytical skills allow you to tackle multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a focus on key input metrics and the overall health of the business. You are a curious and driven individual who thrives in a collaborative environment, capable of communicating effectively with senior sales leadership and other stakeholders.
Your solid business acumen enables you to think strategically and tactically, driving results and improving processes. You excel in producing, analyzing, and presenting weekly reports, and you are adept at supporting revenue planning for forecasts and annual planning. Your ability to analyze quantitatively and problem-solve is complemented by your strong oral and written communication skills, which are crucial for this role.
Desirable
Experience in continuous improvement initiatives is a plus, as is familiarity with the CPG and Grocery sectors. You are comfortable with ad hoc analysis and have a knack for creating and maintaining models that help drive business decisions. Your ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively will be key to your success in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own end-to-end business support for the growing CPG and Grocery Teams within Amazon Advertising. You will lead business reviews, focusing on key input metrics and the overall health of the business. Your responsibilities will include producing and analyzing weekly reports, supporting revenue planning for forecasts and annual planning, and performing month-end close duties to accrue and reconcile revenue.
You will partner closely with senior sales leadership to drive the business forward, ensuring that all financial aspects are aligned with strategic goals. Your role will also involve conducting ad hoc analysis, which includes creating and expanding the scope of financial models that inform business decisions. You will be expected to communicate findings clearly and effectively to various stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on business objectives and performance metrics.
