Your experience includes working closely with sales leaders and product managers, ensuring that financial processes align with business objectives.

Desirable

Experience with AWS or similar cloud services is a plus, as is familiarity with investment evaluation frameworks and operational risk management. You are comfortable refining planning processes and modeling improvements to enhance financial performance. Your project management skills enable you to lead ad-hoc business projects effectively, ensuring that all financial processes are implemented smoothly.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be a key member of the AWS Finance team, supporting the Commercial Sales Organization in Australia and New Zealand. You will implement and drive core financial processes, including the annual Operating Plans and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying and quantifying financial and operational risks and opportunities, helping the business make informed decisions. You will collaborate closely with finance management and business partners to ensure that financial strategies align with the overall goals of AWS ANZ.

You will also be responsible for driving thoughtful analysis and controllership within the AWS organization, providing insights that directly influence the future of the business. Your role will involve regular interaction with various teams, requiring you to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively. You will help refine the planning process and contribute to modeling improvements that drive positive Free Cash Flow.
