Who you are

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and have extensive experience in FPGA design and prototyping. You have a strong background in defining FPGA bring-up environments for ASIC and system prototyping, and you are skilled in writing relevant scripts and debugging code. Your expertise includes creating test benches and test harnesses, and you are comfortable collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality hardware solutions.

You have a proven track record of working closely with product design, audio technology, computer vision, hardware engineering, and software engineering teams. Your ability to communicate effectively across disciplines ensures that you can architect and implement FPGA solutions that meet the needs of world-class hardware devices. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of verification processes, enabling you to enhance the verification of IPs in FPGA platforms.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing world-class hardware and software solutions. You will define the FPGA bring-up environment for ASIC and system prototyping, ensuring that all necessary components are in place for successful implementation. You will create and enhance verification processes for IPs by leveraging the FPGA environment, identifying and writing tests for various stimuli and corner cases. Your debugging skills will be essential as you work with design engineers to deliver functionally correct design blocks.

You will participate in the design, verification, and bring-up of IPs in FPGA, collaborating with team members across multiple disciplines to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned. Your contributions will directly impact the development of innovative consumer electronics, including devices like the Kindle, Fire tablets, and Amazon Echo. You will also be involved in lab bring-up activities, ensuring that all hardware components function as intended before they are integrated into larger systems.
