Your experience includes developing software that ensures confidentiality and security for users, and you are comfortable navigating ambiguous security-related problems. You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, meeting the export control requirements for this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing software for Amazon Leo, an initiative aimed at providing high-speed broadband connectivity via Low Earth Orbit satellites. You will work on building secure communication systems that protect customer data and ensure the integrity of the satellite constellation. Your day-to-day tasks will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate security services that address various security challenges.

You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and operation. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Leo initiative, helping to connect underserved communities around the world. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth of the team.
