Who you are
You have a strong background in supply chain management, particularly in hardware demand and supply optimization — your experience has equipped you to handle complex supply chain challenges with thousands of variables. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers. Your ability to manage internal stakeholders and supplier relationships is key to ensuring continuity of supply and lifecycle management. You are results-oriented and focused on delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams across AWS. Your technical knowledge of interconnects and PCBA subtier components is complemented by your understanding of contracts and process improvement. You are adept at navigating the complexities of supply management, ensuring that all technical needs are met while maintaining high standards for safety and security.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the supply management for interconnects and other critical components that are essential for AWS's global datacenter network. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver the highest standards of service while optimizing costs. Your responsibilities will include managing supplier relationships, ensuring support for continuity of supply, and overseeing lifecycle management of key programs. You will also focus on process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
You will be expected to analyze supply chain data and trends to make informed decisions that impact the overall performance of AWS infrastructure services. Your role will involve working closely with engineering teams to understand their requirements and ensure that supply management aligns with their needs.
