Who you are

You have a deep understanding of the full technical stack, from baremetal server hardware to the software in userland, and everything in between. With a strong interest in cloud scale, you are curious about how systems and software decisions impact users. You are an innovative self-starter who insists on the highest standards and can develop tactical solutions to diagnose complex issues. Your experience includes working with AI/ML and HPC workloads, and you are excited about the continuous release of new AWS services that solve significant business problems.

You possess a solid foundation in hardware engineering principles and are familiar with designing server architectures that support high-performance computing. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams allows you to contribute effectively to the development of AWS cloud offerings. You are driven by the challenge of delivering continuous price performance improvements in the cloud for AI model training, particularly for multi-billion variable LLMs.

Desirable

Experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure and a passion for AI technologies will set you apart. Familiarity with AWS services and a background in hardware design will enhance your ability to contribute to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, deliver, and operate AWS cloud offerings that enable high performance and scalability for AI/ML workloads. You will work closely with other engineers to solve challenging technology problems and build architecturally sound, high-quality components. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing solutions that enhance the performance of AWS services, ensuring they meet the needs of millions of customers.
