Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong technical aptitude and possess analytical and problem-solving skills that enable you to tackle complex challenges effectively. Your clear written and verbal communication skills allow you to collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams, including software engineers and operations managers. You are capable of working independently and leading teams when necessary, demonstrating quick decision-making and effective prioritization skills. You are physically fit and able to lift/move 40 pounds independently, participate in team lifts for heavier items, and work in confined, elevated, and noisy environments.
What you'll do
As an Infrastructure Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security standards while following established installation procedures. Your core responsibilities will include installing fiber and copper cabling and completing equipment patching to ensure network stability and sustainability. You will also be required to travel between data centers, utilizing your personal transportation to navigate effectively. Your role will involve collaborating with a diverse team to deliver the highest safety and security standards while optimizing infrastructure costs. You will be expected to participate in team lifts for heavier items and navigate ladders, stairs, and gangways safely, ensuring that all operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations.
