Your experience includes mentoring and developing teammates for career progression, and you are committed to sharing best practices across shifts and locations.
What you'll do
As a Transportation Operations Manager at Amazon, you will have complete responsibility for transportation operations at multiple sites within your region. You will lead and supervise a team of Transportation Area Managers, ensuring that logistics are streamlined and operational goals are met. Your role will involve strategic planning and forecasting, as well as accountability for safety, quality, and performance metrics. You will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizationβs policies and procedures, and you will be responsible for mentoring, training, and developing your team members. You will also be expected to travel up to 50% of the time to oversee operations across various sites. Your ability to motivate others and drive process improvements will be crucial to your success in this role.
