What you'll do

As the Area Maintenance Manager, you will lead a team of facilities associates, ensuring a safe working environment for all. You will be responsible for managing risks and minimizing system downtime, which is integral to the success of Amazon's Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team. You will develop and design innovative solutions to complex problems, ensuring that maintenance programs are effective and efficient. You will also manage outside contractors and be on call for emergencies, demonstrating your commitment to operational excellence.

Your role will involve developing and maintaining preventative maintenance programs that align with Amazon's goals of sustainability and innovation. You will handle multiple projects and daily activities, meeting deadlines while developing plans to accomplish departmental and distribution objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of safety and efficiency within your team, and you will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
