Familiarity with regulatory and compliance issues in the tech industry will enhance your ability to support AWS's initiatives across Latin America. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable, as you will be focusing on Spanish-speaking countries.

What you'll do

In this role, you will primarily support AWS's sales teams by negotiating, drafting, and advising on strategic enterprise agreements and technology licensing agreements. You will provide legal counsel on policy, regulatory, and compliance issues, assisting with business development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include managing legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries. You will be involved in various AWS legal projects, ensuring that the legal aspects of transactions are handled efficiently and effectively. Your role will require you to interpret contracts and provide guidance to business team members, ensuring that they understand the legal implications of their agreements. You will also participate in cross-functional teams to address legal challenges and contribute to the overall success of AWS's operations.
