You are a skilled technician with a background in mechatronics and robotics, ready to support Amazon's Operations Maintenance team. Your experience includes repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You have a solid understanding of automated packaging and distribution equipment, and you are eager to develop your skills further while mentoring junior technicians in their roles. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to continuous improvement and safety in the workplace.

You possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems. Your familiarity with Arduino and Embedded Linux allows you to contribute effectively to the maintenance of robotic systems. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally to meet Amazon's high standards of reliability and service.

Desirable

Experience with pneumatic systems and material handling equipment is a plus, as is any background in automation technologies. What you'll do

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability of our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will work closely with the Operations Maintenance team to ensure that all material handling equipment is functioning correctly, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

You will have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your hands-on experience will be invaluable as you troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to keep our systems running smoothly. You will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and contributing to the overall success of the maintenance team.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will be involved in safety protocols and practices, ensuring that all work is conducted in a safe and compliant manner.
