You have a deep understanding of ordering, accounting, and payments technical platforms, and you are eager to engage in continuous prioritization efforts to balance fast-paced business requirements with long-term technical investments. You have experience designing and modifying scalable software architecture for full stack systems, and you apply software engineering best practices throughout the development life cycle. You are comfortable working independently to deliver and maintain medium-sized features, ensuring that your code meets high standards for quality and performance. You understand the importance of coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the Invoice By Amazon product and its technical platforms. You will design and modify scalable software architecture, ensuring that the systems can handle the increasing complexity as more customers adopt the IBA experience. You will work independently to deliver and maintain features, applying best practices to ensure high-quality code.

You will engage in continuous prioritization efforts, balancing immediate business needs with long-term technical investments. Your responsibilities will include shipping and reviewing Java and AWS CDK code for new features, collaborating with teammates to solve complex problems, and mentoring junior engineers to foster their growth. You will play a key role in supporting the expansion of IBA into new markets, contributing to the overall success of Amazon Business.
