Who you are

You have experience in a medical or health-related field, ideally with a focus on workplace safety and health. You are comfortable assessing and administering first aid, and you understand the importance of advocating for health and wellness principles in a work environment. You enjoy interacting with people and are passionate about creating a safe workplace for all associates. You are familiar with OSHA regulations and have a proactive approach to managing health and safety concerns.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to work closely with the WHS Site Manager and other specialists. You have strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with new hires and existing associates. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple responsibilities, including attending safety committee meetings and participating in case management reviews. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement in health and safety practices.

What you'll do

As an Onsite Medical Representative, you will be responsible for providing first aid support to Amazon Associates and referring them to outside medical providers when necessary. You will participate in weekly safety committee meetings and engage with new hires to ensure they understand the health and safety protocols in place. Your role will involve assessing both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses, offering guidance and support to associates as needed. You will work closely with the WHS team to promote a culture of safety and wellness across the site.

You will also assist in the development and implementation of health and safety initiatives, ensuring that all associates are aware of the resources available to them. Your contributions will help Amazon achieve its goal of becoming the benchmark of safety excellence in the industry. You will be an integral part of the team, supporting safety operations and ensuring that first aid needs are met promptly and effectively.
