What you'll do

As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring they are engaged and performing at their best during their shifts. You will manage key operational metrics including safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Your role will involve collaborating with support teams to develop and implement plans that meet business objectives. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, continuously monitoring performance and making adjustments as necessary to meet operational goals.

You will play a crucial role in the workflow of the operations network, overseeing the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes. Your leadership will help ensure that products are housed, transported, and delivered to customers in a timely manner. You will also be involved in lifting and moving products, as well as standing or walking for long periods, which is essential for the role. Your ability to adapt to varying noise levels and temperatures will be important as you work in different areas of the operation.
