Who you are
You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams. You understand the importance of engaging your team during their shifts to maintain high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to meeting customer expectations. You have a strong ability to collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives.
You are physically capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and are comfortable standing and walking during your shifts. You have a keen understanding of operational workflows, including the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes, and you are committed to innovating for the last mile customer experience. You believe in the vision and dedication to customer satisfaction that Amazon embodies.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will support, mentor, and motivate your team to achieve their best performance. You will manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. You will collaborate with various support teams to develop and implement plans that align with business objectives, contributing to the overall success of the operations network.
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards during shifts, engaging with your team to foster a positive work environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring performance metrics, addressing any operational challenges, and ensuring that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
