You have the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and are comfortable working in variable temperature environments. You possess strong collaboration skills, working effectively with various support teams including Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives. You are adaptable and can thrive in environments where noise levels vary and physical demands are high. You are dedicated to maintaining customer expectations and ensuring that orders are delivered accurately and on time.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce members, supporting, mentoring, and motivating them throughout their shifts. You will manage key operational metrics such as safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with support teams to develop and implement plans that align with business objectives. You will also be involved in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and operational standards.
You will play a crucial role in the workflow of Amazon's operations, overseeing the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes. This includes ensuring that products are housed and ready for order, managing the transportation of orders to your area, and facilitating the final delivery to customers.
