You are an innovative engineer with a passion for designing cutting-edge fulfillment centers and logistics systems. You thrive in environments where you can take ownership of complex projects and enjoy collaborating with both internal and external teams to create high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Your experience includes working with automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and robotics, making you well-suited for this role.
You have a strong background in engineering principles and project management, allowing you to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept realization through design approval. You are comfortable being the primary technical contact for suppliers and ensuring that your designs are successfully installed and commissioned. Your ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment sets you apart as a high-impact engineer.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with various teams to design and implement innovative solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems. You will oversee projects that include green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits, focusing on highly automated fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities, and transportation centers. Your responsibilities will involve engaging with suppliers, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all designs meet quality and cost standards.
You will be involved in both template-based and custom designs, allowing you to leverage your creativity and technical skills. As you work on hundreds of projects each year, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic team of engineers. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Amazon's logistics operations.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $99,300.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
