Who you are
You are an experienced EHS Specialist with a strong background in workplace health and safety. You understand the importance of creating a safe working environment and have a passion for promoting safety culture within organizations. Your expertise allows you to drive comprehensive safety programs through data-driven strategies, ensuring that safety standards are not just met but exceeded. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to deliver engaging safety training that resonates with associates and promotes a proactive safety culture. You are a champion of continuous improvement initiatives, always looking for innovative solutions to enhance workplace safety while maintaining operational efficiency.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be at the forefront of transforming workplace safety culture at Amazon. You will lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments, implementing innovative solutions to prevent injuries. Your responsibilities will include facilitating new approaches to safety, combining technology with human-centered solutions to create an environment where safety and productivity thrive together. You will serve as your building's designated safety champion, building relationships and influencing positive change within the organization. Your work will directly protect employees, ensuring they return home safely to their families every day. You will also be involved in delivering safety training and championing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workplace safety.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $27.00 to $33.00, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
