What you'll do

As a Regional Safety Engineer at Amazon Web Services, you will own the Health and Safety function for your area, focusing on improving the health and safety of data centers. You will work closely with construction managers to identify and mitigate risks before live operations begin. Your role involves advocating for safe changes in response to new infrastructure, tools, and processes. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to maintain and enhance the global health safety program. Additionally, you will partner with employees and contractors to achieve specific safety objectives and advance the safety culture within the organization. Your responsibilities will include advising and training personnel on safety policies, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
