Who you are
You have experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-class networks and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. You are detail-oriented and sufficiently autonomous, able to work in a collaborative environment. Your background includes network implementation and troubleshooting, and you have a proven documentation methodology. You are eager to learn and grow within the infrastructure operations team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Desirable
Experience with AWS technologies and Cisco networking equipment is a plus. Familiarity with capacity management and data center operations will help you excel in this role. You are adaptable and ready to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the stability and sustainability of next-generation networks.
What you'll do
As a Network Deploy Technician, you will be responsible for driving the stability and sustainability of AWS's vast network infrastructure. You will assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale the network, ensuring that all data center locations are supported effectively. Your day-to-day tasks will include capacity management and providing support for network implementation and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with peers and customers regularly, establishing plans and methodologies to enhance network performance.
You will leverage your experience to help scale support across several data center locations, ensuring that network operations run smoothly. Your role will involve documenting processes and procedures to maintain high standards of network reliability. You will also participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on improving network infrastructure and operations.
