Who you are
You have a strong background in network support, particularly in large-scale, enterprise-class networks — your experience includes network implementation and troubleshooting, ensuring that you can effectively manage and support complex network infrastructures. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution. Your understanding of best practices in network management allows you to refine operational procedures and contribute to the overall stability of network operations.
You are familiar with AWS services and have experience in capacity management — your role involves assisting in the scaling of network capacity across multiple data center locations. You understand the importance of maintaining high availability and performance in network operations, and you are committed to driving the sustainability of next-generation networks. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals.
What you'll do
As a Network Technician IV at Amazon, you will be responsible for supporting the stability and sustainability of AWS networks — this includes day-to-day assistance with capacity management and scaling support for several data center locations. You will collaborate with Network Scaling Leadership and Technical Program Managers to execute projects that enhance network performance and reliability. Your role will involve leveraging your technical expertise to troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency.
You will establish and follow best practices in network management, contributing to the refinement of operational procedures that ensure the smooth functioning of AWS infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the performance of AWS services, as you help maintain the vast network infrastructure that supports millions of customers worldwide.
