What you'll do

As a Language Engineer II, you will dive deep into critical projects that enhance Alexa Shopping experiences. Your role involves collaborating with fellow Language Engineers and Data Scientists to design APIs that facilitate seamless interactions. You will be responsible for generating high-quality data and running experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of various features.

You will analyze and automate processes for data collection and annotation, ensuring that the data quality meets the high standards required for effective machine learning applications. Your work will involve prompt engineering for API delivery, where you will assess how well the data represents human language and its impact on downstream interactions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and ensure that the data sets and exemplars you develop align with those needs. Your contributions will play a critical role in driving the design of innovative features that enhance the voice shopping experience. You will also have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of Generative AI to improve data optimization strategies.
