Job Description
Who you are
As a Graduate Shift Manager, you are prepared to take on leadership responsibilities after completing an extensive 11-week onboarding program. You will ensure that your team delivers goods to customers on time and in good quality, while also focusing on safety and process improvements. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with your team and other departments to achieve operational excellence.
You have a strong commitment to safety standards and environmental protection, ensuring compliance with regulations at your location. Your analytical skills allow you to derive actionable recommendations for process improvements based on key performance indicators such as safety, productivity, and quality. You are eager to lead and develop a team of up to 100 employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work in one of our shifts, whether early, late, or night, with a primary focus on maintaining safety standards across your site. As a shift leader, you will conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to your team members and stakeholders. You will also participate in cross-site projects aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include planning and managing internal processes, ensuring effective resource and workflow management, and collaborating with upstream and downstream departments.
