Who you are

You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and performance in an operational environment. You have a knack for engaging and mentoring your team, ensuring they are motivated and productive during their shifts. You are collaborative and can work effectively with various support teams to meet business objectives. You are comfortable lifting up to 49 pounds and are ready to take on the challenges of a fast-paced logistics environment.

What you'll do

As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly employees, focusing on maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will support, mentor, and motivate your team, ensuring they are engaged and productive. You will manage the workflow of operations, which includes overseeing the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes. Collaborating with support teams such as Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, and Human Resources will be key to developing plans that meet business objectives. You will play a crucial role in maintaining customer expectations, ensuring that orders are delivered on time and to the right location. Your leadership will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, contributing to the overall success of Amazon's logistics network.
