You have a proven track record in operations management, with experience in leading teams and ensuring high performance. You understand the importance of training and development, and you are committed to addressing the needs of your team members so they can excel in their roles. You are adept at implementing policies fairly and consistently, and you have experience in performance management, including addressing discipline and performance issues. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the challenge of meeting customer expectations while maintaining team morale.

You possess strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with third-party delivery providers to uphold Amazon's standards. You are detail-oriented and have a keen understanding of operational metrics, which you use to drive performance improvements. You are passionate about creating a positive work environment and are dedicated to the success of your team.

What you'll do

As the Last Mile Team Leader, you will manage daily operations for either one large site or a combination of smaller sites, ensuring that inbound and outbound operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for meeting customer-facing metrics while maintaining cost targets and upholding safety standards. Your role will involve driving performance management of your team members, preparing and implementing training and development plans to achieve the best results for customers.

You will work closely with associates to provide feedback on their performance, focusing on productivity, quality, and safety. You will also be responsible for motivating and coaching your team, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to succeed. In addition, you will address any discipline or performance issues that arise, including making tough decisions when necessary. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.
