Who you are
You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and performance in an operational environment, and you thrive on engaging your team to achieve these goals. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, adapting to variable temperatures and noise levels in the workplace.
You have a collaborative mindset, working closely with support teams such as Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives. Your ability to mentor and motivate your hourly workforce is key to maintaining high levels of attendance and performance. You are committed to ensuring that customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location, aligning with Amazon's dedication to customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workers, supporting and mentoring them throughout their shifts. You will manage various operational components, including safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Your responsibilities will include developing plans in collaboration with support teams to meet business objectives and ensuring that your team is engaged and motivated.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining workflow efficiency across the first mile, middle mile, and last mile of operations. This involves overseeing the processes that ensure products are housed, transported, and delivered effectively. You will also be responsible for monitoring performance metrics and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
