You possess basic computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel, enabling you to manage operations efficiently. Your business-level Japanese language skills allow you to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. You are a problem solver who can analyze issues from multiple perspectives and implement effective solutions. Your strong communication skills enable you to coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure smooth operations.

Desirable

Experience in using logistics management systems and tools to enhance operational efficiency is a plus. Familiarity with data analysis for operational improvements will set you apart. You are proactive in suggesting improvements and have a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies in workflows.

What you'll do

As an Area Manager, you will oversee the logistics operations at our facility in Saitama, ensuring that millions of products are delivered efficiently and smoothly. You will be responsible for planning and managing shipping routes, determining how items are sorted and dispatched, and coordinating with senior management to ensure that operations run without delays. You will manage a team of staff, overseeing their shifts and ensuring that they are effectively deployed according to logistics demands. Your role will involve regular communication with your team and senior area managers to ensure that all operations are aligned and that any issues are addressed promptly. You will also focus on continuous improvement, identifying areas for enhancing safety, quality, and productivity within the logistics process. Regular meetings with senior management will allow you to discuss operational improvements and implement strategies that enhance overall efficiency.
