Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and are ready to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, which is essential for effective communication in a diverse workplace. Your experience includes employee and performance management, where you've successfully led teams to achieve their goals. You are familiar with performance metrics and have a solid understanding of process improvement and Lean techniques, which you apply to enhance operational efficiency.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will oversee the operations within the Fulfilment Center, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and in line with company policies. You will lead a team of associates, motivating them to excel in their roles while maintaining a customer-obsessed mindset. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, overseeing the picking and packaging processes, and ensuring timely shipping of products.
