Overview

Who you are

You have experience in occupational safety and health, ideally within a distribution or operational environment. You understand the importance of compliance with local regulations and have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including operations leaders, is key to your success in this role. You are detail-oriented and committed to fostering a culture of safety within the workplace. You are also skilled in analyzing safety metrics and trends to drive improvements.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with the operations team at Amazon's distribution centers to implement and enforce safety policies. You will lead initiatives aimed at reducing ergonomic risks and workplace accidents, ensuring that all employees have a safe and healthy work environment. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance and supervision to ensure compliance with local regulations and Amazon's safety policies. You will assess site performance against safety requirements and develop action plans to address any deficiencies.
