Who you are
You are a highly motivated individual with a strong background in maintaining critical infrastructure, particularly in data centers. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills enable you to work effectively with both internal customers and external vendors. You thrive in autonomous roles and are capable of designing and implementing innovative solutions to operational challenges. Your expertise in battery systems is a key asset, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and act on data provided by other teams.
You have experience in preventative maintenance testing techniques and understand the importance of ensuring high availability for data center operations. Your ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams makes you a valuable contributor to the Operations Services team. You are passionate about enhancing the customer experience and are eager to contribute to the operational excellence of Amazon's data centers.
What you'll do
As a UPS Battery Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance of UPS batteries in our data centers. You will apply your technical skills to ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally, thereby supporting the availability of critical services for our customers. Your role will involve coordinating with regional resources to facilitate smooth work execution and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
You will work closely with various teams, both internal and external, to address any operational challenges that arise. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance the reliability of our data center operations. You will also be expected to maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding the status of equipment and any necessary actions.
