Overview

Amazon is hiring an Overnight Staff Pharmacist to manage prescription fulfillment and ensure medication quality. This role requires hands-on involvement in dispensing medications and managing customer profiles in PharmacyOS.

Who you are

You are a licensed pharmacist with experience in managing prescription fulfillment processes. You understand the importance of medication quality assurance and have a keen eye for detail when verifying prescriptions. Your ability to manage customer profiles in PharmacyOS ensures that patients receive their medications accurately and on time. You are committed to providing excellent customer service and are comfortable working overnight shifts. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to helping customers navigate their medication needs. You are proactive in identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the prescription process, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for verifying medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk orders. You will handle tasks ranging from dispensing medications to managing the entire process of prescription fulfillment, ensuring completion from initiation to the final stage. This includes filling, verifying, and packing orders for shipment, in addition to pharmacist verifications. You will coordinate prescription transfers and manage new prescription acquisitions and processing. Your focus on system-based verification and documentation will help maintain the integrity of the pharmacy operations. You will also work closely with the customer service team to provide 24/7 support to customers, ensuring they have access to the medications they need when they need them.
