Who you are

You have 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced e-commerce photography studio, demonstrating a proven ability to capture high-quality, visually compelling images of a wide range of products both on and off model. Your excellent command of lighting techniques and photography software, including Capture One, Photoshop, and Lightroom, allows you to produce consistently high-quality, color-accurate images. You understand the balance needed between artistry, organization, communication, and cooperation, and you thrive in collaborative environments.

You are adept at managing high-volume image workflows, efficiently handling approximately 3,000 files per day while maintaining visual standards. Your troubleshooting skills enable you to decisively address on-set challenges and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders. You are innovative, always looking for new approaches to enhance studio performance and productivity, and you take pride in maintaining studio equipment, props, and supplies.

What you'll do

As a Photographer at Shopbop, you will work within our e-commerce photography team to produce high-quality images that align with our brand vision. You will collaborate with senior photographers on lighting, visual aesthetics, and technical problem-solving, ensuring that all images meet our high standards. Your role will involve executing creative direction and articulating the rationale for your decisions to support our brand vision.

You will be responsible for verifying color accuracy and making necessary corrections to maintain visual standards. Additionally, you will identify process improvements to enhance studio performance and productivity, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Your ability to work collaboratively within interdependent teams will be essential as you provide feedback to ensure the successful implementation of new processes.
