Amazon is hiring a Senior Pre-Construction Manager to lead the EMEA Data Center Construction team. You'll serve as the primary liaison between various teams during the planning and design phases. This role requires extensive practical construction experience and knowledge of Pre-Construction standards.
Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in Pre-Construction management, particularly within the data center or construction industry β your background equips you to drive standards and ensure the successful execution of construction projects. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Real Estate, Design Engineering, and Construction, to provide critical guidance on cost, schedule, and constructibility during the initial planning and design development phases.
Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively liaise between various stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality documentation that adheres to established processes and standards. Your ability to navigate complex construction environments makes you a valuable asset to any project.
Desirable
Experience with global Pre-Construction standards and the ability to create bid documents and specifications that clearly outline project requirements is a plus. Familiarity with innovative construction practices and technologies will further enhance your candidacy.
What you'll do
In this role, you will represent AWS in the EMEA region, ensuring that all construction projects meet Amazon's high standards for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
