Overview

Amazon is hiring a Process Assistant for Inbound Operations to manage daily shift activities and mentor associates. This role requires strong organizational skills and a focus on quality and safety.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications. You are detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills, enabling you to manage administrative tasks effectively. Your ability to mentor and guide associates is crucial in ensuring that customer expectations are met through adherence to standard work practices. You understand the importance of safety and quality in operations and are committed to fostering a positive work environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the daily management of your shift, which includes administrative management of associates, job allocation, and monitoring their productivity and safety. You will conduct regular audits, such as 4M and 5S, to ensure that workstations are maintained to the highest standards. Additionally, you will prepare and implement training and development plans for associates, helping them to grow and succeed in their roles. As a Process Assistant, you will also stand in for the Area Manager when necessary, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
