You are results-oriented and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all procurement processes are executed efficiently and effectively. Your experience with RFQ processes and change order management will be crucial in this role. You understand the importance of budget approvals and supplier management in maintaining operational excellence.
Desirable
Experience in the tech industry, particularly within cloud services or data center operations, is a plus. Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure will give you an edge in understanding the unique challenges faced by AWS Infrastructure Services. What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving standard processes for RFQ (Request for Quote) for capital equipment, ensuring that all procurement activities align with AWS's operational goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage change orders and oversee budget approvals, ensuring that all procurement activities are executed within budgetary constraints. Your role will involve analyzing supplier performance and identifying opportunities for improvement in procurement processes. You will also be tasked with maintaining relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with AWS procurement policies. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of AWS data center operations, helping to deliver the highest standards of service to customers.

Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $79,500.00 - $139,100.00 USD annually for this position, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
