Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager-Tech to lead the Finance Automation team. You'll own the customer experience from product vision to launch, collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role requires 7+ years of product management experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 7+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology. Your background includes managing technical products or online services, and you have a Bachelor's degree. You are skilled in defining product roadmaps and prioritizing customer use cases, ensuring alignment across teams. You have experience in engaging with technical discussions and advocating for customer needs, making you a strong leader in product development.
You excel in both functional and non-functional requirements, using your technical expertise to contribute to development discussions. Your ability to listen to and advocate for customers sets you apart, as you understand the importance of user research and data analysis in shaping product features. You are comfortable collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including engineers, technical program managers, and designers, to drive product success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of the customer experience, from defining the product vision to building and launching the product. You will define and prioritize the product roadmap, focusing on goals, customer use cases, requirements, and features. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research and customer interviews to inform product discovery, as well as writing press releases and FAQs to communicate product goals.
You will engage deeply with engineering teams to define both functional and non-functional technical requirements, contributing to discussions on product solution design and construction. Your role will require you to ensure business alignment across all teams, advocating for critical customer needs and driving the best results for users. You will be a key player in the Finance Automation team, working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver impactful products.
