Who you are

You have a strong background in privacy, data protection, and risk management — your expertise allows you to navigate complex situations and make high-judgment decisions effectively. With a detail-oriented approach, you excel in handling risk events from intake through incident containment and remediation. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, legal, and marketing, to ensure that trust and privacy are integrated into all aspects of product development. Your technical capabilities enable you to understand the nuances of the devices and services you manage, ensuring that customer trust is maintained at all times. You are proactive in identifying potential risks and implementing processes to mitigate them, demonstrating your commitment to customer safety and transparency.

Desirable

Experience in incident management and post-mortem analysis is a plus, as is familiarity with customer-facing capabilities that enhance control and transparency. You are adept at creating detailed reports and recommendations for various audiences, including leadership, and you thrive in environments that require quick thinking and decisive action.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage escalated events and cases from start to finish, ensuring that all incidents are documented thoroughly with detailed case notes and reports. You will execute trust and privacy initiatives, working closely with builder teams to create processes for incident containment and risk remediation. Your responsibilities will include investigating escalated events that pose high or critical risks and supporting continuous reporting and assurance efforts. You will analyze key risk trends and patterns across devices and services, providing insights to stakeholders and management. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure that appropriate guardrails are in place for content moderation, privacy, and accessibility. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining and raising the trust bar for Amazon customers, ensuring that all products and services meet the highest standards of privacy and security.
