What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of AWS's public policy strategy, focusing on critical technology issues such as cloud computing and AI — you will orchestrate strategic initiatives that promote innovation-friendly policies while maximizing customer benefits. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with public policy and business teams to identify key policy priorities and develop advocacy strategies that resonate with government stakeholders.

You will engage with Central and State governments to advocate for policies that support digital transformation and technology adoption — your efforts will be instrumental in shaping AWS's public policy narrative and ensuring that our voice is heard in policy discussions. You will also monitor and analyze the evolving policy landscape, providing insights and recommendations to inform AWS's strategic direction.

Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key policymakers and industry stakeholders — you will represent AWS at public forums, conferences, and meetings, articulating our policy positions and advocating for our interests. You will also work closely with internal teams to ensure that our policy initiatives align with business objectives and customer needs.
