Amazon is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to drive operational excellence in Global Logistics through innovative test automation and quality assurance. You'll develop sophisticated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability of logistics systems. This role requires expertise in test automation and quality assurance processes.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in quality assurance and test automation, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. You are skilled in developing testing frameworks and have a deep understanding of quality assurance processes. Your expertise in Java and Selenium allows you to create efficient automated tests that ensure product reliability. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for finding and documenting bugs effectively, ensuring they are tracked through resolution. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with software development engineers to understand technical architectures and improve testability. Your communication skills enable you to advocate for quality throughout the development process, making you a vocal proponent for excellence in every phase.

Desirable

Experience with logistics systems or similar mission-critical applications is a plus. Familiarity with additional testing tools and frameworks will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for quality assurance will set you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will shape the future of Global Logistics at Amazon by driving operational excellence through innovative test automation and quality assurance. You will lead the development of sophisticated testing frameworks that ensure the reliability and performance of mission-critical logistics systems serving millions of customers worldwide. Your responsibilities will include creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases, as well as executing tests across all functional areas of our products. You will review user interfaces for conformity and functionality, ensuring they meet design guidelines. Additionally, you will find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution, interpreting and reporting testing results to stakeholders. Engaging in code reviews will be a key part of your role, ensuring that testability and unit test designs are prioritized. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall quality of our products and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
