Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience in quality control, demonstrating a strong understanding of quality control methodologies. Your analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to identify areas for improvement effectively. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Administration, or a related field is part of your background, and you are familiar with continuous improvement methodologies. You are willing to travel up to 20% of the time to various project sites across Mexico, showcasing your commitment to the role.
What you'll do
As a Quality Control Engineer at Amazon, you will oversee and execute quality assurance and control processes throughout the package handling in Last Mile Operations. You will ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up to date and accessible in Policy 2.0 at all times. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the Standard Audit Tool (SAT) monthly and completing daily routines focused on address data quality to enhance delivery quality. You will perform audits, assessments, and deep dives into field processes and procedures, using logical thinking to identify potential quality issues impacting customer experience. You will also support project improvement events to achieve both short and long-term business goals, providing feedback related to Standard Process adherence.
