Amazon is hiring a Reliability Maintenance Engineer to maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. You'll focus on planned preventative maintenance and ensuring equipment availability. This role requires a motivated technician who enjoys teamwork.

Who you are

You are a motivated technician with a strong focus on health and safety best practices. You understand the importance of maintaining equipment to a high standard and are committed to compliance with all health and safety regulations. You thrive in a team environment and enjoy collaborating with others to achieve common goals.

You have experience in carrying out planned preventative maintenance and are quick to react to breakdowns, ensuring clear communication with affected parties. Your proactive approach to addressing and resolving issues contributes to the overall efficiency of operations. You are eager to learn from senior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment within the Amazon warehouse. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance to ensure high levels of equipment availability for internal customers. Your day-to-day tasks will include reacting quickly to equipment breakdowns and working efficiently to resolve issues. You will also support the management of contractors and engage in continuous improvement by providing feedback and suggestions to your line manager.

You will work in a non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekends, to ensure that maintenance operations run smoothly. Your commitment to health and safety will be paramount in all work carried out, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations. You will play a key role in raising the availability and quality of equipment, directly impacting the operational team's success.
