Who you are

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you are dedicated to maintaining a wide range of equipment and ensuring the safety of your colleagues. You understand the importance of proactive and preventative maintenance tasks, and you are skilled in carrying out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse. Your commitment to upholding health and safety best practices is paramount, and you take pride in enhancing the operational environment. You are also supportive of the development and progression of on-site apprentices, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

You thrive in a hands-on role where you can respond quickly to machinery issues, ensuring that equipment is functioning safely and effectively. You are familiar with the latest tools and techniques to maximize equipment effectiveness, and you are proactive in suggesting and implementing long-term improvements. Your ability to work collaboratively with senior colleagues and contractors allows you to tackle day-to-day maintenance tasks efficiently.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of planned preventative maintenance to the site's Make On Demand (MOD) equipment, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently. You will respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating issues and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. Your role will involve working on continuous improvement projects and rolling out best practices across various EU sites, contributing to the overall efficiency of Amazon's operations.

You will work on a variety of shifts to ensure that the best results are achieved for customers. Your proactive approach to maintenance will help prevent machine downtime, and your commitment to health and safety will ensure a safe working environment for all colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to support and mentor apprentices, helping to develop the next generation of maintenance engineers.
