What you'll do

As a Regional Safety Engineer at Amazon, you will own the Health and Safety function for your designated area, focusing on data centers. You will work closely with data center engineers to ensure that safety protocols are adhered to while advancing the safety culture. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, developing safety training programs, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the global health safety program. You will also partner with construction managers to identify potential risks before live operations begin, ensuring that safety is prioritized in all new infrastructure projects.

You will advocate for safe operational changes in response to new tools and processes, continuously seeking ways to improve safety measures. Your role will involve monitoring safety performance metrics and implementing corrective actions as necessary. You will be part of a regional and global team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the safety of operations across Amazon's data centers.
