What you'll do

In your role as a Safety Technician, you will execute risk assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with Amazon's safety procedures. You will monitor the work site closely, observing how employees use equipment and identifying any potential hazards. You will create and update safety metrics reports to share with your colleagues, providing valuable insights into the effectiveness of safety measures. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with Operations and other departments to offer guidance on safety procedures and assist in implementing new safety measures. Your day-to-day activities will involve being present on-site, answering questions from colleagues, and proactively addressing safety concerns.
