Who you are
You have a strong background in security engineering, with experience in identifying security flaws in software and hardware systems. You are proficient in security testing methodologies and have a solid understanding of threat modeling. Your technical expertise includes working with AWS and Linux environments, and you are comfortable using Python for scripting and automation tasks. You understand the importance of secure development practices and can guide teams in implementing these effectively. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with product engineers to create effective security mitigations. What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for performing low-level reviews of operating system components and device services to identify potential security vulnerabilities. You will guide Amazon's product teams toward secure development practices, which will involve conducting design and code reviews, as well as threat modeling. You will propose and develop tools and techniques to enhance the security posture of devices and services at scale. Additionally, you will provide technical security expertise and consultation to various product teams, helping them understand and mitigate security risks.
